The nofdp IDSS is an information and decision support system within the framework of the “nature oriented flood damage prevention” research and development project. The goal of the research and development project is to support integrative river basin management that takes regard of spatial planning, water management and ecology for small river catchment areas, especially to improve protection against flood damage.
The nofdp IDSS was developed cooperatively by Björnsen Consulting Engineers in Germany and Deltares in the Netherlands. This work was sponsored by EU funds from the Interreg III B Program. Project partners are:
